Darling Harbour was created as a gift to the people of NSW in celebration of Australia's bicentenary in 1988. Since its opening, Darling Harbour has been a place of celebration for the people of Sydney, as well as a hugely popular tourist destination, that attracts more than 25 million visitors annually. Located on the edge of Sydney CBD, it's easy to get to Darling Harbour by bus, train, ferry, monorail, lightrail, car, taxi or bicycle.
