Built in 1883 and perched on the edge of a peninsula, Green Cape Light Station is the tallest and most southerly in NSW. Its octagonal tower juts out from a square base, in dramatic contrast to the low-lying landscape surrounding it. It looks across Disaster Bay – the site of many shipwrecks.
