To coincide with Earth Hour, discover how children in the 19th century entertained themselves without access to electricity. Take a tour by candlelight, learn how to make shadow puppets and put on a shadow play, while the grownups take a stroll through the house to see how lighting technology has changed in 150 years. Finish up with hot chocolate and marshmallows in the grand dining room.
